O processo criog\u00e9nico, aplicado para este fim e baptizado com o seu nome, foi desenvolvido h\u00e1 mais de 100 anos por Carl von Linde.<\/p>\n<p>Neste processo, o ar \u00e9 expurgado de humidade, poeira e di\u00f3xido de carbono, sendo em seguida comprimido e arrefecido a temperaturas extremamente baixas, at\u00e9 liquefazer. Neste processo, o gelo seco \u00e9 utilizado em pellets, com a dimens\u00e3o aproximada de um gr\u00e3o de arroz.
